DISCUSSION ON TREATMENT EFFICIENCY OF REACTIVE YELLOW 145 COLOR AND REACTIVE RED COLOR 194 BY GUM EXTRACTED FROM MORINGA OLEIFERA SEEDS

In this study, a biological coagulant (gum) extracted from moringa seeds is produced as to treat Reactive Yellow 145 (RY145) and Red 194 (RR194). The material's properties are determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) FTIR. SEM images show that the surface structure of gum has appearance relatively fine pores homogenously distributed particles on surface. FTIR spectra indicate prepared material contains functional groups such –OH, –HC=O C-O xyloglucan ring. factors affecting coagulation process RY145 RR194 colors include pH, concentration, initial color, stirring speed, time. based results, it suggested bio-flocculating agent seeds, an eco-friendly , can decolorize reduce COD and, thus, potential for treatment textile dyeing wastewater. removal efficiency was 87.77% 76.92%, respectively, at optimal points pH = 9, concentration (2000 mg/L), color (40 speed (60 rpm)and time (55 min). 89.31% 80%, 7, (3000 (20 (45 rpm), (65 min) .
